The First Point National High School Invitational is the most prestigious National Boys High School Volleyball Tournament in the country boasting teams from more states than any other tournament. It is invitation only.
Teams from the following states have competed in this tournament:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah
Location
The Opening Ceremonies, tournament competition, awards ceremony and clinic for the 2027 First Point National HIgh School Invitational will all be held at Round Rock Sports Center, a 16 court facility at 2400 Chisolm Trail Road, in Round Rock, Texas which is approximately 20 miles north of Downtown Austin.
Opening Ceremonies will take place on the evening of Thursday, April 1 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tournament Competition
Tournament competition will be held Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd. Pool Play and the majority of playoff matches will be held in the mornings, with championship matches on Saturday afternoon and evening.
The tournament is split into three brackets.
Awards and Clinic
Awards, team photos and a clinic (the past two years hosted by U.S. Men’s National Team Coach Karch Kiraly) will be held Sunday, April 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Livestream
Tournament matches will be livestreamed and the Championship matches (and selected others) will have announcers.
Custom Uniforms
SLUNKS has made custom uniforms for each team the past two years.
First Point Volleyball, an arm of USA Volleyball Foundation, is dedicated to growing Boys and Men’s volleyball in the U.S. Boys High School Volleyball is the fastest growing boys’ high school sport in the country - participation in Boys Volleyball has grown 12.57% year over year and 76 percent in last 10 years. First Point has held the First Point Collegiate Challenge with four top NCAA Men’s Volleyball teams each of the last 5 years, it has made millions of dollars of grants to grow boys and men’s volleyball in the United States, and it has been responsible for starting Men’s Volleyball in Conference of HBCUs and at many other colleges and universities, most recently the University of Pacific.
